Annie's Bay

Once a U.S. Military Beach, Annie's Bay is now a popular beach spot, featuring a small, sandy beach. Visitors receive a panoramic view of the water, complete with dramatic rock formations to the left and an extended coast line to the right. The water is shallow and calm, providing an excellent spot for swimming.

Annie's Bay is located on St. David's Island, 2.7 miles East of Castle Harbour; it is 1.8 miles to the South East of St. George. This beach is not just another pleasant piece of the coast, it's special in that it's one of the few quiet beaches in Bermuda. While Annie's Bay may be a bit off the beaten path, it's a pleasure to find an undisturbed plot of sand like this one.

How to Access The Beach

Visitors can access the beach via Cooper's Island Road by foot or car. A car park is located shortly off of Cooper's Island Road.

Amenities and Ambiance

Annie Bay features calm, clear waters and a hills that enclose the area. Light beach vegetation adds to the atmosphere, while the soft sand feels great to walk on.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot.

Before you pick a spot and plan an outing by the water, you may want to consider how crowded it might be that day. While some like rowdy shorelines with plenty of other vacationers, others prefer a quiet, almost private area.
