An outré repertoire of expertly selected tea like black tea, herbal teas and lunch menu of homemade soups, sandwiches, salads, smoked trout, fresh English pork pie with chutney, Cornish-style minced meat pies and ploughman’s lunch of cheese and bread will get you munching irresistibly. For a tang of delicacy, the owner, Heidi Cowen will treat you with British pastries and fresh banana cake or gingerbread with lemon sauce. Lighthouse Tea Room serves British cuisine. Set at the base of Gibbs Hill Lighthouse is the endearing calmly toned Lighthouse Tea that gives a breathtaking view of Great Sound. The walls of this alluring delicate teahouse are draped by lace curtains giving a touch of an old-fashioned tearoom, which is sure to touch your heart too.
