Activities and Recreation at Royal Palms

Staying active and busy is the ideal vacation experience for some, but this isn't essential for a memorable vacation. Although the Royal Palms Hotel doesn't boast the most impressive assortment of recreational activities, it may still be the best place for you.

Water and Fitness

The Royal Palms has one pool. Hanging out at the pool might not be an essential part of your vacation, but it still offers an easy enough way to cool off after a day's worth of attractions.

Tennis

The hotel doesn't have tennis courts on the premises, so if keeping up with practice is a must during your stay, you'll have to find courts elsewhere.

Hotels that do list tennis as one of their amenities include the Elbow Beach Club Resort and the Fairmont Southampton.

Golf

Although the Royal Palms does not have a golf course, you may be able to arrange a tee time somewhere nearby. The nearest golf course is Belmont Hotel Golf and Country Club, which is located a mile and a half south of this hotel. You can play 18 holes at this course. It's a total of 5667 yards long, and is a par 70.

Watersports

While some hotels host their own, you won't find watersports activities here, but locals often give the best advice on where to find places where you can hire an activity guide or equipment.

Family Activities

Although travelers can bring their whole families to the Royal Palms, there aren't very many amenities for kids. To find hotels with amenities for kids, check out accommodations which are top-rated for family vacations.

During your stay, you may find yourself wanting to spend a little time away from the kids. The hotel can arrange for a sitter, so parents can have a chance to explore city sites on their own.

Entertainment and Nightlife

As for nighttime entertainment, guests should know that the Royal Palms does not offer live entertainment.

You'll be able to grab a drink at the hotel's bar, however, beyond that you won't find much after-hours entertainment.
